Viscous Thought takes the complex philosophies of Timothy Morton (UK born contemporary philosopher) and transforms them into a visual experience, bringing new ways to understand his esoteric writings.
Viscous Thought inspired an interactive installation called Nature Is... This installation explores the first chapter of Viscous Thought, asking us to question our current assumption of Nature.
As the viewer walks through a form of curated Nature, they create red molecules of carbon dioxide (a reference to the book). Within the viewer are provocations of the definition of Nature — Nature is Smog, Nature is Money, Nature is Now.
